Purchase Ledger Clerk

Currently recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for our client a global market leader based South of Cambridge.

The job will see the successful candidate take sole responsibility for the purchase ledger function working as part of a small team to ensure the smooth running of business operations. This job reports directly to the head of finance.

Responsibilities include:

Daily banking & reconciliation of sterling and currency accounts
Bank accounting for client tenant accounts
Reporting of key cash figures to parent company
Owner of the purchase ledger process
Monthly Barclaycard posting and reconcilliation
Generation of payment proposals and entering into the bank ready for approval
Provide support to head of finance in month end closure
Provide assistance to other finance team members in their daily activities
Provide cover for finance team members sickness and holidays
CRC administration duties for a number of our clients.

In person you will be highly numerate with good attention to detail and have worked in a similar environment with relevant finance department experience
